Just one question and its probably a stupid one... Will the new V wheels fit on a V1?

Only if you can't count higher than five.

First generation CTS-Vs feature six lug hubs. The only other car that I'm aware of that utilizes this configuration is the Dodge Viper.

If you use a big enough press, yes.

The Viper was (is?) 6x4.5", so not quite the same. Some other GM vehicles used the 6x115mm pattern - the STS-V, SRX, and I think a couple of mid-size SUVs. Basically, nothing that's useful for wheel selection.

You can use the STS-V wheels but they will require a spacer to make enough room for the brake calipers. Search wheel thread some people have them on their V1's other then that only a handful of "6" lug wheels out there.
