i am looking at buying a 93 sedan deville with 104k miles, but a mechanic at the local GM service center was telling me about electrical problems with years 92-94. he said that sometimes cars with high mileage end up getting chronic electrical problems and that the servicing (disconnecting the battery to fix everytime) can get quite pricey. i would be getting a decent deal on the car, but dont really want to have tons of repairs. i have access to all the vehicle's service records from 30k miles and up. any advice/help on this??

Finding that complete service records is really rare..... There are someproblems sometimes, but its not terrible.. Have been a few reported cases of the PCM going bad, which isnt good and cause fits trying to figure it out.. but really its not that bad... Id recommend getting one!!

Spend some time reading some of the previous posts... Youll figure out everything you need to find.....

THe 93 with the 4.9L v8 is one ofthe most reliable engine you can get in a caddy... highly recommended...

Dude, no offense, please, but you don't look old enough to even know who Carl Perkins was.

Besides, you don't have the blue suede shoes! :bouncy:
