: Breather on PCV

Anyone have a breather on their PCV where it used to go into the intake tube? Mine was always draining oil into the intake, so I put a short hose and breather on it. Now my CTA smells like it has a carburetor... Anyone else have this problem?

Needs to be a checkvalved breather that also regulates the flow as it is un,etered air entering now. Your fuel trims are going nuts as well trying to adjust.

Do the drill mod and install a proper catchcan (not one that lets as much through as it catches) and the propbelm goes away.

I already have a catch can, never heard if the drill mod...

bump ... ?

EDIT: I found it - looks like you can mod the orifice by up-sizing a couple holes with a 7/64" bit.

Michael, you have the volant intake correct? Were you able to install the "ram air" type scoop that was included?

Kind of hijacking the thread with that question, but here is what you want...

Yes, but could get the scoop to fit because I have the V front bumper.
