Servus,

I am from Bavaria (Germany) and just bought a 2008 Escalade. This is a really rare SUV here in Germany because they all drive ML, X5 and Q7.
My problem is that I cannot completely fold the third row without pulling out the headrests. The headrests are really large but the manual says you only have to push them all the way in.
I found different sizes of third row headrests in pictures in the internet.
Did they change the size or how do you manage the folding of ghe third row seats?

Thank you for answering

it is not the headrest. the 3rd row seat must be fully locked/secured on the bottom in order for you to fold it up or down.

there's 2 levers one to fold down, another to flip it forward. You can also use one lever to completely remove them out of the car too. You dont touch the headreast at all.

Sorry for my bad english!

I can fold the seats but the headrests are scratching on the floor. Especially the right one scratches on the switches of the second row.
The headrests of the third row are larger than that in the second row.
Is this in your Escalade the same?

Wrong ones. It looks like someone took the headrest from the front seats and put them back there. As others mentioned, they should look like this...

Bavarian, you have an European spec Escalade. That's why you have the big ones. Buy some US ones from ebay.

Thank you very much for answering, espacially to thundercat97, I think this is the explanation, and to Cadillac Cst Svc I just called the number you have posted because of the legallity of my 22" wheels on my 2008 Escalade.

Now I need your help again. I could not find 3rd row headrests on ebay, so I asked my dealer.
But he can only order them if he has a VIN of an Escalade where they are original installed.
Would anybody with a 2007-2008 Escalade and a cashmere interior (like the picture from nathanjax above) send me his VIN?
Please mail to damanu (at) web.de.

Thank You
