You've taken them out - right? I mean, "loosening" doesn't do it ;)

Related issue - I have the caliper off, but having trouble loosening the bolts for the caliper mount. Between space being restricted in the wheel well and bolts being on back side of rotor, can't get sufficient leverage. I've squirted liquid wrench on them waited a while, no better. I'm holding end of ratchet handle stable and tapping firmly with hammer, that doesn't break it loose either. Any tricks of the trade to offer?

I figured this out. You need two tools, one 12mm socket and 17mm wrench so you can hold the sliding bolt mount while you loosen the 12mm bolt. It's pretty obvious once you realize how it is made.

If you turn the wheel out you can get a better angle (i.e. on the left side turn the wheel all the way left). It is a very tight bolt and you do need to have plenty of leverage. A 6 inch rachet handle is not going to work.
