Just wanted to stop by and say hello. I'm new to the forum. I've been in the market for a 1968 Cadillac Coupe DeVille for a while now. And my search may be over soon. I think I found what I'm looking for, if all goes well I'll be driving it this weekend! Is there anything in particular I should be concerned about with a 68, other than the fact that it's a 44 year old vehicle?
I think your last comment says it all. Being 44 years old, everything is of concern. The better the overall condition, the less work required to enjoy it.
Welcome to the Forums! Good luck with your purchase!

Welcome to the site! You'll find everything you need to know right on here.
:welcome: Aside from the usual rust in the lower front fenders and under the vinyl top, the 1968 Cadillacs are pretty much indestructible.

Thanks everyone! Well I didn't end up getting my Caddy. After looking at it today, I decided it was more trouble than it was worth. No AC, no heat, no windshield wipers, no radio, no door/window seals. Leaking oil, leaking trans fluid. Exhaust manifold leaks, body work and paint job were done on the cheap...more than I was expecting. The search continues, I will get my 1968 Cadillac Coupe DeVille someday, but not today.
Diligence pays off, in the end you will find a really nice '68!

Good luck on the 68. My uncle, a commercial pilot bought a new one. Sodt of a seafoam green with black leather. I remember he traded it for a 73 tbird. It was just a used car back then.
Give it some time. Your car is out there.
