Very interesting question! Being as I was in high school during the 80's, I really enjoy the XM 80's channel. But here in the last month
I made myself a mix of my favorite 007 James Bond movie themes. I called it " Music to Spy to". Geeky, I know. Now if I just had rocket launchers
or an ejector seat...

My last year in high school was 1960... :)

But to answer the question... some real old Stones or ZZ Top or Led Zeppelin is pretty good.

Bruce Hornsby's "Every Little Kiss". It's really a driving down Pacific Coast Highway in a convertible song. But windows open in a Caddy is a good second choice.....

The Beach Boys: "Little Deuce Coupe"

.......... above 100 mph: The Alan Parsons Project, "Eye In The Sky": Sirius

------ otherwise, we never use the radio/sound system except for the Weather Service and traffic channels on FM.

I'm gonna move this to the Lounge so everyone has a crack at it ----------

Don't have it yet, but if I do get my 68 Cadillac Coupe deVille this weekend, I think I'll be playing One Piece at a Time, by Johnny Cash!

Depends on the time of year and the time of day...

^Never heard of them. Not sure about the angsty teenager music, but that's totally Lorna's (Associate from the Kingdom of Califa) '68 Superior on the cover.

Whilst cruising Thursday morning after work around 8:00 AM (Not sleeping much, that's good cruising time for me) with a friend, I suppose this was playing.

It was met with a response of "This is why you (Meaning the Irish in general) are so dark and gloomy all the time."

I'd say it is more wholesome or realistic. It is always better to remember the world for how it truly is than live in deceit just to keep one's self happy, methinks.
