I think I would try a BMW. Saw an hour long show on BMW and the business it built.

There are a lot of good choices.

If it couldn't be American or Japanese I think I'd go with an Audi. Maybe try and find an older S8.

BMW maintenance horror stories scare me, nice looking cars though.

If money were no issue.......BMW X6 M or Mercedes CLS 63 AMG. But instead I buy used Cadillacs because resale drops so much.

Probably wouldn't buy any of the current Lacs though.

I'm from Motown, can't answer the question. Not that the Germans don't make fine automobiles. An attorney friend of mine has a 7 series XL BMW that is probably the nicest car I've ever been in, but, foreign cars are not for me.

I think maybe the BMW M5 or M6. Although on my recent vacation to Kauai I was given a Hyundai Genesis sedan by Hertz and I must say it was a damn nice car...

The Genesis is a nice car, check out an Equus if you get a chance, even nicer!

Try and find a car like that for even close what they want for it....no comparison out there, blows everything out of the water as far as bang for your buck is concerned.

Who doesn't want reclining rear seats? C'mon! My STS didn't come with reclining rear seats and cost just as much as the Equus does. If I had those I'd never drive, just get someone else to do it :)

I can see your point, but since I never buy new it just sounds like a lot of money. Very nice car, though. The reclining rear seats also have a refrigerator between them!

Get a divider installed, get a driver with a chauffeur's license, beer thirty in my car!

That's funny bc I just test drove a couple Japanese cars and a 2010 Lincoln MKZ. Lol. But since it couldn't be either of those, definitely an Audi S8. Probably 2008. Love those cars.
