I got a 2007 STS V8 RWD with about 38k. The tires on the front are 235/50-18 and 255/45-18 on the rear. I'll be in the market for new tires this spring. Iíll be staying with the stock OEM rubber as Iíve had good luck with them.

While I'm at it, I also need to renew the front rims due to road hazard damage. I know the tires are slightly different from front to rear but are the rims also a different size? The dealer wants almost a $1000.00 a wheel where I can get refurbished anywhere between $250.00 - $400.00 a wheel without sensor & center. I know what the sensor is for but I'm not sure what they mean by the center? I'm assuming it's the small Cadillac cap in the center of the wheel. Are both transferrable? Has anybody used a wheel vendor for the stock 18Ē wheels?

the 18" rim used are all the same size, the tires was the only difference. they are 18" x 8"
A lot of people choose to go with 255/45-18 on all 4 wheels to allow for tire rotation.

They are referring to the Center cap is not included (the caddy logo)

There is a set on ebay right now for $1,200 with tires. Not sure why two are 225s are two are 235s, but there it is.

You may also have a local business that refinishes wheels in your area, that could be easier to stomach than forking over the cash for new ones so I would look into that first....The PO of my car loved hitting curbs, that's on my list of spring time tasks.

Business here charges $80-$200/wheel depending on the repairs needed.
