Hallo everybody.

I've got engine (4.6 VVT) and transaxle sts 2005. and I going to install it to other car. What sensors I need for normal operating of engine and transaxle (except of standard engine sensors) and whether it's necessary to reprogram PCM? Car without any electronic systems such as ABS etc.

Thanks.

Without the vtd it will never fire. Contact mad tuner to see if we can do a vats bypass yet. He's the only one to tune the 05 rwd ECM.

I have a vats with key. this engine was working entirely (assembled on the floor).
mad tuner - what is this? where can I read about it?

where is the localisation of the speed sensor? in transaxle directly?
whether the engine and transaxle will work correctly without abs, and other external sensors (suspension etc.)

Did you get a rwd or awd. The key has nothing I do with it. They run off an RFID fob.

I've got awd transaxle but I'm going to remake to rwd.

I have a fob too.

ok. but if anybody knows anything about necessity of sensors and ECU programming it will be helpful for me.

Sts 2005 has number of things such as traction control,ABS,brake assist, automatic suspension levelling. I don't know how engine and transaxle will work if these functions "unplugged".

Again the only one I can think of is madtuner.

Start with an ecu from STS that didn't have f55 suspension if you are worried about a speed limiter from that. I would think most of the features of the car could be tuned out / disabled with either a tuner or a tech 2 to disable the features. You might be able to run a newer ecu with the engine and not be limited to one tuner. But you would need to keep in mind that the transmission changed on the car in 2007 to a 6spd 6L50E from the 5L50E so you might need to make a hybrid ecu that can work with the tcm from the 5spd.
This is mostly uncharted territory you are in here.

This swap will be like wiping your a$$ with a hoop; there's no end to it.

why? in detail.

Todays cars have every system so highly integrated that it's almost impossible to know exactly what's going on when a stock car is operating correctly let alone when you've done a Frankenstein's monster mod on it.

btw, who knows a weight of Northstar 4.6 engine?

Likely you'll find the answer on some fiero forum where they seem to swap in the northstar. Perhaps the n* technical performance section on here might know too.
