What's goin on everyone. I'm a new member to the site and just bought a 2009 ESV. I'm looking to see if anyone has any recommendations for improving my MPGs. I know I have to keep my foot light, but what else could I do? I searched around but I didn't see anything that related to this. Thanks!

Get a Super Chips programmer. Set it up for "Economy 87 octane" and drive it like you're 90. Set the cruise control on the speed limit on the highway and get anal about proper tire pressure. I have one on my 2005 LQ9 6.0 ESV set to 91 octane "Performance" mode. I checked my commute over 5 tankfuls and went from 13.7 to 15.3 MPG with no other changes.

Superchips is one way ... the other is to get an in person blackbear tune next time they are in you area. You can have it tailored to your specific need and for your specific truck.

Like soulsea stated I would go with a custom tune...I have heard of blackbear, but personally I use Westers...pm me if you want my guys info...increase in performance and MPG's....also gets rid of that lag when you slam on the pedal.

Thanks for the info guys. I'll be sure to look into all of the recommendations and see what would work best. I don't believe I can drive like I'm 90.... Maybe I would drive it 90 lol.
