Ok, I am going to convert my suspension from air/electronic to passive. I already have the front shocks from SunCore Industries http://www.suncoreindustries.com/cadillac-suspension/escalade/2002-2006-front-conversion-kit.php , and I want to order the rear kit. My question is, if I use their coil over shocks do I still need to replace my coils? http://www.suncoreindustries.com/cadillac-suspension/escalade/2002-2006-rear-coil-over-shocks-conversion-kit.php . Thanks,Mike

the air bags on OE shocks are only for load leveling. if you want the same spring rate you are better off with non-coilover shocks. if you are, however looking for more load handling then sure, put em in. you will likely notice a stiffened ride.

Ok, gotcha. Sounds good. Thanks,Mike

Hi, I just installed a set of Monroes on my Escalade. I think the kit # is 90012. It comes with 2 shocks for the front, 2 air shocks w/ hose kit ( you can still hook them to the compressor if you want. These are brand new shocks, NOT rebuilt. The kit also comes with the resistors to fool the computer. Shipped from Rock Auto the kit was $124 bucks !
