: 19" Staggered Coupe Wheels on a 12 AWD Wagon?

11-09-12, 11:24 AM
Found a set of staggered coupe wheels and curious is they will work on my AWD wagon.
They are from a 12 coupe complete with tires.

Continental ContiSportContact3 245/45ZR19
Continental ContiSportContact3 275/40ZR19

I have searched and read some of the old posts. It appears the tire sizes work with the AWD. Will the rear wheels stick out too much?

Anyone running these on their AWD wagons?

Thanks for your help.

I don't think you can run a different size tire on the front and back on a AWD.

There has been lots of discussion on this topic, I believe. If you try a search you may find the answer to your question if someone doesn't pipe up for you.

I put V coupe rim on my AWD coupe and did a lot of research. Stock our AWD Coupes are stagger set up and have a 4 revs per mile bias to the front wheels. 245/40/19 and 285/35/19 conserves the AWD bias to the front. Some have gone with 245/45/19 front and 275/40/19 rear...

The wagon and the coupe may have different offsets, so be aware on that front. Other than that, I can't vouch about the AWD and staggers.

I ran the staggered coupe wheels on my awd with no probs. I have that set for sale for cheap if you're interested.
