Will these be a direct fit on the rear of an 05 Escalade? Does anyone have first hand knowledge or know for sure? Thanks. I need another inch or two of lift. Just switched out to Monroes yesterday for the rears.

I guess no one knows... Welp I'm gonna be the guinea pig. I ordered a set because I need/want an additional 1-2 inches of lift. Air ride compressor went out and since I have an additional 300 lbs of CNG tanks where my spare tire used to be, I went ahead and decided I can live w/o air ride for now. We'll see if I miss it.

I had 2002-2006 Tahoe Z71 springs and Bilstein shocks on my old Denali. I got rid of the air ride and electronic dampening. There is a module in the right rear compartment you need to disconnect to clear the dash light. It sat about 1/2 an inch higher than stock:

Just switched out the springs in 2005 Escalade with springs from a 2007 Z71 last night. Ride height is where I think it should be. Increased my height about 2 inches. Background... Compressors were no longer working, replaced shocks with Monroes for Z71, I have about 300+lbs of CNG tanks in the residing in the spare tire area, so I didn't want the compressors running all the time or coming out to a parked, lowered/sagging Escalade. I haven't done anything with the front suspension. Front wheel well measurement is a tad higher than rear wheel well, less than half an inch, I can live with that. Ride is firmer, but I like it...so far :) I'm used to a firmer ride...one of my other cars...

07 Z71 springs are actually shorter than stock Escalade springs, but they are beefier and I guess don't compress as much. Although I guess my stock springs do have 97K on them compared to basically 0K Z71 springs. Install wasn't too bad, but definitely get a 3 ton jack and jack stands. No spring compressors needed.
