I wanna replace the bose system in my escalade. I have two 12in phoenix gold subs in a dual vented box.
I have the bass punch control and its all just hooked into the navigation system.
I wanna purchase the:
Pioneer DEH-P7400HD In-Dash CD/MP3/WMA Car Stereo Receiver with HD Radio, iPod Control, Pandora Support and Rear USB Input.
and put it where the 6 disc changer is by the bvlgari clock. along with some sweet door speakers so does anyone have any suggestions on a great setup?
thanks a lot!

Are you keeping the stock amp if so I am running infinity speakers(2 ohm load) which are around the same as the stock speakers ohm rating and it is like night and day I did the sub also with the same results(still am using the stock radio and amp just not for the sub) and the overall sound quality and staging improved dramatically

I am one that is picky and wants the best audio quality as I am a audiophile (I have had people say my home audio system is overkill nope it's how I wanted it to be)the same goes for my rides.

FYI if you stay stock a media gateway will work with the radio and it does support the pandora app and you can also add on Bluetooth

I got a 800watt amp for the subs but other then that everything else is stock. im having those buttons replaced at the same time i get the spaeakers done.
so would the door speakers run on a different amp within the dash radio? cuz i want my doors to have some real good kick with the music so i can
feel the subs in the back but some pound on the side also.

Separate amp to run the speakers in the door is the best route. With that pioneer deck you cut off certain frequencys from hitting the front stage and tighten up the mid bass. Image dynamics makes a nice set of components alpines are good and mb quarts premier line is good. But with the mb's you would need to find a nos set from eBay when they were made in Germany.

The stock sub and speakers run on the same amp and its under the center console(FYI the lowest the door speakers go is mid bass as the amp has a crossover to protect them from damage(which when you have the sub on you won't know if they are doing bass or not

I know my sub does the lower end of the mid bass down and I am using the stock sub connections to the sub amp

buy 2 of the best 6.5:s as theres is on this planet ,, and adress the with lots of power from a separate amp , you need to stiffen the doors becuse they are awsome , they delivers powers you dident thought was possible from a small speaker ,, and its not yust power , they plays good enought for to make an audiofil to cry in sadisfaction

and go for the REAL DEAL those 6.5 that are made in the US in oklahoma ,, sadly even DD has a opend up series of speakers made in china , they are preatty good , handpicked by jassa ( the guy who "is" DD (Digital designs ) so they arent real crap but far from the handmade 6.5.s
