Can anyone ascertain whether the 2012 SRX V6 has a factory installed vacuum pump/electronic check valve on the power brake booster?? I'm trying to install a US Gear Unified Tow Brake and the wiring requirements for the pump change somewhat to allow for this feature. There is a wire connector with a couple of wires in it where the vacuum hose comes out of the booster. Is that wire connector operating a check valve??
Your help would be appreciated.

Sorry, I don't know the answer to your question. But I gotta ask, if what you are planning on trailering requires trailer brakes, are you sure you are not exceeding the tow ratings of the SRX?

That is not a problem. The SRX is towed 4 wheels down behind a motorhome and by law I need to have a supplemental braking system installed in the SRX. This supplemental braking system will apply the brakes in the SRX whenever the brakes are applied in the motorhome. That's why the supplemental braking system needs to apply the power brake booster in the SRX.

OK, I see now. I'd contact the dealer's service department to see if they know.
