My Cadillac is exactly one week old, with 280 miles on it. The Navigation Sytem say "Please insert DVD Map" The DVD Map is inserted. I took it out and reinserted it, still the same message. I also played the CD, it works however the screen tells me that there is no CD inserted. Obviously I need to reboot the system. Turning off the keys and leaving the car, then restart doesn't work.

Question:

WHAT DO I DO????

Take it back to the dealer!!!

Update on Nav system. Took car to dealer. They are going to replace the whole radio/nav systems.

It of course is back ordered

I have a new 2005 SRX also with 150 miles and the same DVD error problem. Is there a fix or do I need to take to deasler and have it replaced?

This is ridiculous
