I need the driver side tail light. My girl backed into a mailbox. She busted the light cover, scraped the paint & put a dent In the driver rear panel. I was told, "it's an easy fix. It's jus the part, that's hard to find at a reasonable price". Plz, help.

I agree on the price. Amazon is usually bargain basement, and even they are $315.

If you have a U-pull-it yard near you, check there. Junkyard parts are just as good as what was originally on your car and WAY cheaper than new.

Welcome to the forums!

Thanks, how hard would it be? If I wanted to replace the light my self. If I spend 315 on the part. I might as well get my hands dirty.

Before you go to junkyard pull yours so you know how and what tools you will need to take with you. Probable 50 bucks or so.

Welcome to the forum and good luck replacing the light!(and possibly the girlfriend :noidea: )

I still have a pair of rear lamps. Though I extend the offer to sell them often no one ever follows through.

Are you asking for a gold bar each for them or something?

350 for the pair. Based on eBay of 300 per lamp I thought it very fair...

I agree that's a good price.

Depends on the size of the dent. The lamp is held on with 3 10mm bolts. Remove the trunk liner on that side and you'll see it.

It's a small dent. About the size of a dime give or take.

All depends where it is if it can be popped easily.

Huh?

No pic, just a suggestion for fixing small dents.

Paintless dent repair is only a viable option if the paint hasn't been damaged and in an area where there isn't a factory crease or seam. Otherwise you're looking at body work. Without a close exam, it's difficult to offer a good recommendation. Since your tail light was involved, it falls into an area that may require more extensive work.

Thanks, I might get a quote & see what they say about the dent.

Do u still have them? If so, do u have a pic? I bought 1 over the phone from the junk yard & it was the wrong 1. Didn't notice it until I was about 2 put it on.
