Wow, what a nice example of a great family sedan/sports car.

I figured Orconn might appreciate this car ... similar to the one he used to own?

This one is ridiculously clean, but I can't see the seller getting his $10k price.

They don't come up on Ebay very often anymore.

I like those. Very odd cars, plenty of character. I love that control panel.

Probably the best sports sedan of the nineties. Most European publications ranked the Alfa 164 above the BMW 5 series in handling, engine and fit and finish. The car never caught on in the U.S. but those who bought there's new and had good qualified service on them loved the cars. I owned mine for eleven years and to this day consider it to be the best car I have ever owned!

I think the guy is really optimistic in what he hopes to get for the car. But if the car really is in as good condition as it appears to be there will be someone out there who will take it off his hands .... although probably for a lower price.

Tempted to make an offer?

Like the red stitching on the dash...the stack is a little cluttered, though... Looks kind of like a Legend/Sterling of the day...

They handle better than Legends, that much I can confirm.

I'd drive one if it weren't FWD. No way I'd get my bulky arms in that engine bay to do any work. :(

Not the prettiest car on the planet. Stereo looks like it was pulled from '80's-90's era Chrysler/Dodge product. Clean though.

You're right, it does look a whole lot like Chrysler's early '90s units.

That interior is AWESOME. Love the red stitching, the center stack with too many buttons, the big leather throne sport seats. Love how even the rear seat passengers got bolsters on the seats.

I just cannot warm up to the exterior styling though. Although I generally hate most European designs of the 80's, they look like the box the car came in.

Very cool car, gorgeous '90s era Italian styling that looks crisp, pressed and clean cut. I remember seeing these at the Minneapolis Auto Show when they were new and loving them then. I really wish Alfa Romeo would make a return to the states.

Check the carfax. If it's never caught fire that explains the asking price.

I really like that. For the most part, alfa really thought outside the box on that styling and I like it. And this one is def a prime example! Beautiful shape.
