I wanted to pick up a metal die cast 1:16 model CTS-V Coupe car ( prefer white) for my office and after an extensive search, found non! WTF.

How can companied have so many differant cars (4000 to be exact) including distorded vehicles and 1988 Ford LTD, but not have a 2011-13 CTS-V coupe. One of the sharpest cars ever designed! I just don't understand.

help me out here.

You found an 88 LTD?!? Man, I've been looking for one of those!

I feel your pain. Been looking for a decent Vagon die cast for a while. I owned a 91 ZR-1 and found a black over black die cast. Took it apart and color matched the interior to mine. Took a while, but came out great!

Haha. You guys are nerds. Totally kidding! It is ridiculous that you can buy mostly any other over produced crap car, but can't find a beautifully mastered work of art

Don't know anything about Die Cast models but here's a 1/43 scale coupe: http://www.luxury-collectibles.com/cgi-local/ASI_Store.cgi?Product+skukey_1340908895+newrelease +
and the V-Wagon: http://www.luxury-collectibles.com/cgi-local/ASI_Store.cgi?Product+skukey_1340909347+newrelease +

These are resin though.

btw, the sedan is the "sharpest car" of the trio, hence the design of said car diecast. =p

_+1 on Luxury Collectables, I have the 1/43 red V-wagon in my office and even though it is painted a non-metallic red it is pretty cool. Matchbox also made a CTS Coupe in Silver and Red.

I recently bought this 1/18 scale model of the Thundergray V sedan. Very highly detailed model inside and out made in Japan, comes in a nice CTS-V logo box only difference in the model is the rear tail lights are clear. Model sells for about $90.00 to $100.00 but worth the money if you collect diecast models.

Well if anyone hears about a V coupe in die cast, let us all know.

The acrylic cover and wood stand is a nice touch. I did the label and sharpies the rims.

$149 seems high unless you want both cars. If somebody will take the wagon I will take the car and we can split the cost.

They sell them separately on their site.

I've been accused of being a bit obsessive... here's a RC avalanche that I painted to match mine, down to printing out all my decals on model decal paper and adding them :)
(The antennas were a last minute add for the photo... it shows lol)

How did you make the license plate?

I have the Black coup on my desk -- only 1/42 -- but love it!
