Hi,

I have a problem with my new escalade 2011 platinum 6.2V.

Accelerating with part throttle i have very often a short acceleration leak at almost exactly 30 mph.

This take approx. 1 second and then the car accelerats normal.

This happens only when driving "normal" in part throttle, not in WOT.

Anybody knows what this could be ? Is this a know issue ?

Thanks a lot in advance.

Take care
Thomas

Sorry to hear this is happening, and hoping you get a quick fix for this. Never heard of this problem before.

Just to get this correct, are you saying when you step on the gas the truck does nothing for a split second then takes off like normal? That "lag" can be fixed thru programing at your dealership. You run preminum gas 91 octane correct? Has it done this since new? Have you added anything like Techron fuel system cleaner every 5k miles? It makes a difference. Check your t-body and MAF sensor for dirt.

Hi Hcvone,

Yes it does excatly that. it does nothing for a split of a second at almost exact 30mph and then takes off normal. (only in part throttle, not in wot).

We run here 95 octane premium fuel.
It has done this since new ..... .

You think this can be programmed at the dealership ?

Thanks,
