Cadillac is the top U.S. brand, having moved up 14 spots this year. Its*CTS*coupe was the most reliable domestic car.
Hopefully they continue to move in the uptrend and punish dealerships that decide to use customer's cars as playthings.

^^^ I really don't think Caddy, Corp. can actually do anything other than dissolve the franchise. They can probably suggest things, but can't actually tell dealer owners how to run their business.

intersting, if you log in with a CR report, it lists the CTS being the most reliable American car, but the V as below average in reliability.

Probably has to do with number of complaints relative to number of units produced, I'm sure. A few bad eggs will spoil the whole omelet. So far, mine seems tight.

plus the fact that people have higher expectations from a 70k car then they do a 50k car

And V's are undoubtedly pushed harder by their very nature.

Last year, the V was rated more reliable than the CTS, and the CTS had improved to average, except the coupe, which was below average!

My friend bought a used CTS in 2009. He has 115k and only one trip to the dealer for a wheel bearing. He said it's as solid as the 2012 loaner he drove while having his serviced. Pretty cool I say.
