It doesn't seem like anyone has tried this style cutouts on a V2. They are pricey, but it looks like a good design so I'll give it a shot.

Isn't there some kind of new-customer-discount code for summit racing?

Are those the "Doug's" cutouts??? If so, I am looking forward to your install/review.

I tried electric cutouts back in 2004 on a Z28. My experience was not good. I purchased from the leading manufacturer and within 2 months, one basically fell apart. They replaced it but a month later the second one broke. Replaced again and it broke within 3 months. This car got 5000 miles over 6 years so it was not heavily used. I was so frustrated I just removed them. Maybe they are made different now but my experience was pretty crappy with cutouts.

I received the kit yesterday, everything looks very well built. I will have to postpone the install until the dealer performs the "tow link" recall. Most likely will install cutouts on Tuesday.

Will post pics/vids in "General" though since I mistakenly started this in "Appearance".

Lol I've had cutouts for over a year, and posted numerous videos of them on my V2 :) check my posts. They've been absolutely flawless for me. I have QTP's.

Different type. You have butterfly valve whereas theses are guillotine style. Supposed to be self Cleaning, better sealing, and more reliable. At least that's the sales pitch.

Ahh I see, my apologies, you'll LOVE the sound. They should be just fine I'd imagine.
