Poor poor astro van. :(
That 28k invested must have included the purchase price of the van. I cannot fathom spending that much on a van, especially if someone did that themselves.

My Brother wanted to do this with an old Blazer once. He noted that a Fleetwood Brougham interior from the 80's would swap right in with ease.

Swap in with ease?
You can swap the front seats, maybe, but thats about it.

It does not all bolt in, but it all fits. That was what he had meant. He actually planned it out for about a year (Never butchered his '87 FWB for it) He told me about a while back. I actually suggested to find a way to make these same tail lamps work. Similar to your Hooptielac, basically every car he has ever owned that I have experienced was a far-from-stock interior layout that he designed himself. Not saying much, but since he has owned around forty cars...

That is actually where I sourced some parts from when I did the Pontiac.

His Daily Driver olds is mostly stock however. I actuallay like the interior in that car though.
