Supposedly 2014 E63 will come with AWD and a 0-60 of 3.4 sec...

They are amazing automobiles. Cadillac better step it up on the V3.

AWD will do that for you. I would not want AWD on the V.......

Unless the AWD setup is overbuilt there is zero chance for mods.

I hate AWD although I don't live in snow climate.

I would have a current or next gen E63 Wagon. But the damn things are so expensive.

That is SICK.

Gotta realize the V and an E-Class AMG are in 2 completely different markets. AMG is double the price, different feel, quality, assembly, engineering, etc. Apples and oranges IMO.

There are so many areas where Caddy needs to "step it up" for the V, but then again that would push it into a different price range given the insane UAW costs. I'm just hoping the next gen V has better fuel economy and lower RPM torque production.

Oh so this is the $150K AMG and not the $80K one????

Yeah but Mercedes tank after a year or 2 which will make it affordable. One reason why i didnt buy another one... I remember in 2009 seeing a 2006 cl65 with less than 20k on the ticker at auction for some ridiculous low number. Mercedes resale value is one of the worst.

The new E63 being TT should be easy to upgrade the ECU/TCU which would make it insane fast!!

I wonder what Jeremy Clarkson will think of that. He is so fond of shredding the rear tires of AMGs.

0-60 is nice. But, remember, once rolling the V is as fast as the Panamera Turbo...

I won't lie. If it wasn't for the budget, I would be driving an E63 wagon right now. The next one will be insane, too.

AMG's are amazing. Last car was an AMG and almost bought one this go-round as well. With that said, I absolutely love my V, but I greatly appreciate the AMG line. The price is just outlandish for a new one, IMO. You will be able to pick up a used one with the original owner getting hammered. That is what I did for my last one. I generally pay cash for cars and the thought of laying out that kind of coin on something that is going to lose 20-30K on in depreciation in the first year was too much for me to handle.

With all that said, they are unbelievable cars.

$90K base price for the 2013, guessing this one with ANY options gets to $110K in a hurry.

I think also Audi has an RS6 Wagon with the quattro and 560CP so there is more competition to come.

I agree with earlier posts. The price difference alone puts the Audi and AMG in a different class. With 5-10 K of mods the v can run with them and still be 25K cheaper. Not one of the complainers would pay 100K plus for a Cadillac.

Unfortunately, the RS6 will not come to US.
