: Wheel gurus?

I am looking for winter wheels for my 2011 V wagon; looking to spend ~400$. I found a set of 2005 BMW X5 wheels that are in the ball park. The bolt pattern matches and they are 19", but I don't know any of the other specs on them. The guy selling them doesn't know the specs on them either or how to measure them. Can someone tell me if they will work on my V and can someone tell me how to measure for backspacing or a good site that explains how to do it?

Tire Rack or Discount Tire Direct.

That would be great if they sold wheels for 100$ a piece. I'm looking for S$%t wheels for the winter only. If I have to pay more than that I might as well use the stockers and get the tires swapped every season; PIA though.

I just bought drag dr37s in 18 x8.5 with 245/45/18 winter tires for my v sedan from discount tire Trial fitted them this weekend and they do fit over the front calipers. Wheels were 150 each. All in the tpms, lugs tires and wheels was less than what dealer wanted for just tires mounted in stock, staggered 19" sizes.

They have wheels in the $130s, which is pretty cheap.
