Hi guys! Been looking around the forum for a while to get grips on how to mod the LSA properly. Im quite new to V8s and supercharged motors really, after having driven all-motor Japanese cars my life. I just acquired an 09 CTS-V sedan in pristine condition. I'm looking to build a 650whp daily driver but not really certain which mods to buy at this point. I'm very particular about maintaining daily drivability. What mods does everyone recommend should I go with to achievr 650whp on 98 octane gas reliably? Thanks for the input in advance!

Is that 98 RON or MON?

Looks like this was posted in the wrong section...

As for what you are looking to do. We have a bunch of products that have all been thoroughly tested and validated. They would certainly fit the bill. Check out our website for more details on the various power kits we offer.

It's 98 RON. That's the octane rating of premium fuel here in Dubai. I think the regular is about 96

I did drop you guys an email but no response yet.

I'm kinda leaning on getting one of your pulley kits instead of the whole package. I plan to get the other components seperately. It looks cheaper that route in my opinion.

Are you auto or manual?

Upgrade HX
Upper and lower pullies
160 stat
ZR1 cam (you could go more aggressive but the ZR1 cam will be pure stealth)
Headers or offroad pipes with stock manifolds. (stock manifolds are a work of art)
Tune specific to higher octane fuel

If you are a manual you may need a clutch...not sure how the autos are holding at that that power level

Hi Chris thanks for the response! What pullies do you recommend? The car is auto by the way with a GM differential cooler which is standard in this part of the world due to heat. Yeah I'm planning to stick to the stock exhaust but I might consider swapping the headers to either kooks or AR. How's drivability with GT9 cams?

Custom cam or gt9 is fine you will just need to run some very good valve springs. The gt9 isn't 100% stealth but close.
Great heat exchanger
Jabsco intercooler pump
Norcal intercooler tank
Guard dog lid spacer with 8 meth nozzles
2.5" upper
8.6 lower
Long tube headers
Ported blower but you can just do the snout. Doing the 102mm tb is killer though.
As you can see I'm really focused on extra cooling. With the extra boost you will be increasing your intake air temp.

Because this is in the "appearance mods" section I recommned going here for all your needs:

Thanks for the input Josh. I agree on the cooling side. Since I'm here in Dubai, and summer here literally sizzles, I really need to address cooling issues ahead.

With 2.5 upper and 8.6 lower, what kind of boost will I be looking at?

By the way, I don't think I'll be able to pass on the annual inspection if I use meth. I also think meth isn't readily available here so that will pose another problem.

Psi will depend on cam size, headers, ported heads, ported blower. But 16-17 psi normally.

You could do an 8.6 rather than a 9.1 w/meth & add headers to lower boost/heat. Then you could increase timing for the extra 5pts of octane & you'll be zoomin 650-700rw...

Thanks V! Love your set up - exactly what I'm aiming for. It's pure stealth.

Unfortunately I can do meth here in Dubai. It just wont pass our yearly inspection down here.

What's the difference between 8.6 and 9.1?

I would think an 8.6 with headers would yeild 14-15psi rather than my almost 18psi.

Maybe someone with that setup could chime in?
