hi - at mechanics shop, we put truck on lift.
put it in drive and the front wheels didn't spin.

A week prior I had aamco replace the transmission. He thought maybe they forgot to hook something up.

Then I went back to aamco and the front wheels spun.

No issue? Thoughts?

Simple question ...
Is the vehicle AWD or 4WD or RWD?
I guess if they forgot to reconnect to the transfer case properly it could happen.

its AWD. there are no switches for me to change the settings.
But aamco said when they put it on the lift, they didn't change anything and the front wheels were spinning.
weird that it is sporatic.

It sounds like normal because the transfer case has a 60/40 power split rear to front it may be that having the truck lifted caused it to transfer all power to the front or rear wheels due to no traction.
