Does the 2012 V have it? If not, any tricks on launching?

ROFL!

There is no launch control, sadly, outside of your right foot.

learn to modulate your throttle input via your foot with tc off.

Getting pretty good at launching the 6M from stop lights. Let clutch out quickly (short of a full dump) modulate throttle firmly but be ready to shift fast as 2nd comes quick and force yourself to no lift shift when the tach lights start flashing you got plenty of time to ride 3rd.

Funny, I use the launch control on my Vette with a manual. Lots of fun. Help to keep from smokin the tires.

yes.

you have to:

1. Hold down traction control button for 5 seconds. Scream loudly into onstar speaker with your best arnold impression 'DO IT, DO IT NOW'
2. put left foot on brake- note; do not play footzies.
3. hold gear shift lever to left- fondling encouraged.
4. push both steering wheel upshift buttons ; exactly 103nm of pressure should be applied. any more will risk destroying the buttons, any less and they will not respond to input.
5. hold down traction control button - for 0.43 seconds.
6. floor accelerator while doing happy dance
7. release gear shift, brake, upshift buttons and traction control button - but not too quick or else it'll hurt!
8. keep foot to floor - note; some V's like it on the trans tunnel, not everyone can be a freak.

corrected.
