Well today at 6:00PM my Grandmother past away in her sleep. She loved Cadillac's and had one before she could not drive anymore. But she was taken away in a Cadillac Deville Hearse so she did get to be in a Cadillac for one last time. If it was not for her i would not have the Seville. She loaned the money to me to get the Seville so the Seville is now never going anywhere. That's all just wanted to post about her loving Cadillac's and how she was in one for one last time.

Sorry for your loss man. I know the feeling. If it weren't for my grandma, I wouldn't be a trucker. She gave me the money for driving school.

Your grandmother sounds like she was an amazing woman!

Thanks guys. She's had COPD a heart attack, stroke and died two times but they were able to bring her back. She had a hard 7 years before she past but went in her sleep at 72 years old. Scary site to see that hearse sitting in your driveway.

Cadillac is one of those brands that transcends generations, binding young and old people together like Coca Cola and the national anthem. Cadillac is, I would say, more culturally significant than its parent company, GM.

Very sorry for your loss. :(

RIP Grandma!!!!

I do agree with Jesda, Cadillac does transcends generations, and means a lot of different things to different generations. Unfortunately for the next 20 years or so the baby boomers will totally reject Cadillac(considering it the last ride for their parents), so it will be up to my generation to revive the brand(ie the gen x/y, the 30ish old buyers).

Thanks everyone.

Its going to be a bumpy ride now i have no idea where i'm going to be in a few months but i'll keep you guys updated. I might be in NC or Fort Myers FL. She was the only reason we stayed in NJ so i have no idea what's going to happen. And my other Grandmother just got diagnosed with alzheimer's so really going to be a hard ride. But again Thank you all and Thank you to Cadillac that's what made her happy in the last few months hearing about Cadillac's.
