After seeing the new Camaro engine cover, I wondered about it fitting. Well, it will fit rather easily. I bought the studs, which I may not need. At first glance, it looks like it will use the same studs as our cover. As you can see, the only real interference will be the PS cap, but a little cutting to the cover will solve that. It may not be for everyone, but it's another option. The cover was only $55 also. I'll post some more when I have it on.

Hmmm that would look pretty sweet with the SC lid polished too.

Looks cool, but I removed my heat catcher as soon as I got the car home.

I don't like it. It's looks out of place. I like the stock V cover. My .02 cents.

Me too. I could however see having the stock cover prepped, painted and cleared.

UPDATE: I got it trimmed and mounted, but you "may" have to do some trimming to your hood insulation depending upon how tight it fits. The driver's side front corner is the snuggest. I took mine off and it fit just fine. This cover also gives you access to the oil fill hole too.

I would want to cut out the reliefs for the intercooler coolant lines and make those flush.

Thanks. I did this in a couple days, and I'm still noodling more ideas.
