Well I got the dreaded duo of codes and was wondering if there is a way I can tell without much disassembly, whether just the TCC Solenoid is bad or whether I need something more substantial like a convertor or the like? I am willing to replace the solenoid if I can find someone to do it throught the side pan..I dont know if I will remove the tranny to do this..When these two codes are present together is it more than likely just the Tcc solenoid? I was reading somewhere on here about the convertor seals going bad causing the TCC to always be commanded on and thus burning it out..This car is almost at that stage of a cars life when you start wondering if repairs like this are worth it still..Thanks you guys for all your help...

In your case, P0741 is caused by P1860, which is caused by a bad solenoid.

It's the solenoid. See post #2.
