Being OBD2, anytime I've had issues with the evap system I took it for the smoke test. This will show if air or exhaust gas is getting out of where it is supposed to be contained or into where it should not be. Egr valve and all that...

At that mileage I'd do the air filter, plugs, fuel fliter, wires and a coolant drain/flush as well. Look at little O-rings you can replace in the system which could save you alot of money! Good luck,I'm loving my new purchase as well.

Not a problem, Look into summit racing for a few of these things. I got the fuel filter for 10 or 12 bucks, a new tranny mount for 7.89, and the motor mounts are 25.89 a piece I believe. Chances are with our mileage, mine at 117K yours up at 160 that those rubber parts are worn and filtering parts have long passed their proficient stage.

As for auto fluid, I have also heard what you have. Unfortunately I have come from driving mostly manual BMWs and DSMís...this is my first big truck aside from my wrangler I modified for awhile. I really donít know. What I would do is, if the vehicle had been used for towing, chances are the fluid took a beating and ran hot many times. Take a spin, watch your gauge and see what the temp reaches and how fast. Report back and we can compare with others. If the fluids protective properties have broken down, I imagine it will heat quicker and get hotter? Give a Cadillac dealership a call or a reputable shop and see what they think. I know the gear fluids need it, but not sure on the tranny itself. Are you slipping?

I get a slight buck sometime on up or downshift rarely. Thatís why I bought the mounts from summit.

I am the same way just ain't had the time to get them replaced(it sucks to park on hills) I have a time to get my truck out of park when I park on steep hills(which in my area is about everywhere)

Good luck I don't think many people is willing to tackle it but I had a whine somewhere in the driveline(I think it was my transfer case low on fluid)that has went away(my truck is creepy quiet inside now except hearing the exhaust growl) since my last oil change
I went to my local dealer this time as there ain't much difference in the price of the shop I went to before.

You better get the diff seen to soon as it will fail if you don't.
Ps get a different dealer since they can't tell if the shocks are good or bad.

If you don't keep a close check on the fluid level or a seal is bad it can happen and this is why I have both diffs checked every time I have the oil changed.
