: Bought new tires - Falken Rocky Mountain - 2 versions - load rating differences

I ordered these tires. They came yesterday. They look amazing but they are very heavy.
I saw there are 2 versions and I think the only difference is the load rating.
One is 113 and the other is 121 so I got the 121 because I figured it would be better since I tow (5500 lbs).
Did I make a mistake? Will the ride be too harsh with the 121 version?

The 121 is a LT which is a truck tire. It will have stiffer side walls and is perfect for towing. The ride should really not be an issue I would think. I have some LT ATS tires on our esv and the ride is nice.

The other is a passenger tire so the side walls are going to be softer and are not really great if your towing a lot or carring a lot of weight. I will only buy LT tires for my escalade.
