Hello,

I was wondering if anybody has saw this problem before and what could have possibly caused it. I installed a DDM Tuning HID kit just like a lot of members do on this website. The kit consisted of the 35w slim ballasts and the H10 9145 bulbs. Installed everything correctly and tested to make sure the bulbs fired all was good I thought.
The kit worked fine for 4-5 months and I don't even drive my car that much as it is a weekend driver and the weather has to be nice. Then one night I noticed my fog lights neither one was working. About a month went by and I decided to investigate what was going on and this is what I found.

This is the bulb

Wiring on the bulb itself

If anybody has any thoughts on how this happened PLEASE let me know. I really don't think that I installed the kit wrong because it worked for so long. Well I just thought I would share this little adventure with you guys.

Dave

Sorry, I just realized that the company that I bought the kit from was NOT DDM but a company called SHARPHID sorry for this confusion.

Just cheap crappy wire insulation that wore through and the wires shorted, melted. 24k volts.
