There is a slight possibility that the blend door is confused.
Try this...
Start with the temp at 60 on both sides... slowly, over a minute or more... increase the temp to 90 on both sides, then slowly bring it back to 60.
Do it a couple of times and see if that helps.
If it doesn't... the little plastic gear is probably bad on the blend door actuator.
I do not know the exact procedure to get to it.
Low refrigerant will cause warm air on DRIVERS side and cool air on PASSENGERS side...
Original poster says his is the opposite of that.
He has cool on drivers side and warm on passengers side.... that is usually the blend door.
Have the temp settings been checked? Could be that the driver's side is set for cool and the passenger's side is set for warm.
