one quick question you guys: are the dvd players in the car (front and rear) multi zone? im asking becuase i want to know whether my dvds will work...i live in switzerland, getting the export model btw.

Beats the H--- out of me! Either call Cadillac, which just may tell you anything they think you want to hear, or take a USA DVD to the dealer and ask to try it.

nope. region 2 only. tried the export xlr navi and the export srx rear dvd. maybe the newer export models have other regions im not sure.

If you have a DVD recorder in your living room, you can record TV films and put them on a DVD than you can read this DVD in the SRX because recorded DVD are no zone limited.

If, per chance, you have a Macintosh; there is a program called "MacTheRipper" that will allow you to remove copying restrictions and set the zone to "0". Likely, though, you have a PC. I'm sure, if you look, you can find a similiar program. Just do l little searching on Google or my favorite: Versiontracker.com

yeah thanx for all ur help i just remembered the dvs i rip are no zone dvds (code free).....btw i own a pc and u can easily rip dvds (copy dvds), thank u all 4 your help....
