WooHoo! It's FREE! I'm registered for the 7:30 AM class on Oct 19 at Palm Beach International Raceway. We get class time and hot laps in all 3 V-Series models... Coupe, sedan and wagon. Heaven on earth. I'm driving down from Treasure Island in my Black 2007 STS-V.

wants to receive an invitation to the performance lab call 1-855-487-3743 or go onto the Cadillac website

I'm registered for the full day Sunday, October 21 Cadillac V-Series Performance Academy event at PBIR. I've attended a half day session in the past. You're going to have a ball!

Looks like a blast...a bit of a trip from the bay area...I guess I could imply that I am considering a cts-v...but can't part with the xlr lol.

Just have to talk the wife into a new grocery-getter...not sure how the groceries would fare in a V though!

Wouldn't have to worry about the ice cream melting cause she would be getting home a lot faster!

I'm doing the academy on sept 30th in joliet il at the autobahn country club. It isn't free but I think it's less marketing and more track time/instruction. It's an all day event. Can't wait.

It looks like there are two session types: one free, one not. I wonder what the difference is?

Free one is 1/2 day with an emphasis on marketing to new owners/prospective buyers. To help you get a feel for the capabilities of the V Series as a whole as well as the design and thought process behind it.

Pay one ($1000) is full day with what seems to be more one on one instruction and track time. It looks like they loosen up the reins a little too.

Disclaimer: I've done 2 free days already and just recently invited to the pay one so no first hand experience on that.

If you're already doing track days, the pay one may be redundant other than the 1 on 1 instruction and face time with the drivers.
The free one what else can you say, its someone elses car, gas, and tires. Can't pass that up...

Yeah I'm looking forward to the full day academy event as I'm sort of a noob to road courses. Hope to learn some and I'm sure I'll have a blast.

Might try to get a spot for Chicago for this weekend. Hopefully they still have 2 openings. If they do me and my grandfather will bring his vette up
