Thinking of buying a Thunder Gray CTS-V. Coming from a silver car, which is so easy to maintain. I've learned my lessons on black in the past, but is the dark shade of thunder gray the exact same problem?
I don't have time to wash car 3 times a week!

It is a surprisingly easy color to keep clean. I had an 08 STS (non V) in that color. Unless it is really nasty, it doesn't show dirt like you think it would.

Thunder Gray also hides dirt much better than Black Raven. (Current Thunder Gray owner, prior Black Raven owner.)

I have not washed my car in two weeks and it has been raining. My neighbor came to check out my car and complimented me on how clean it was. Sometimes I find myself just cleaning the wheels and the whole car looks freshly washed. It a beautiful color!

Thanks elevated,
I am waiting for my 13 ctsv 6m thunder grey wagon to be delivered. It was good to read it's easy to keep clean.

HA that is true. Lots of work, but its a labor of love. I enjoy it, my truck is storm gray and similar to Thundergray and is easy to maintain. I do detailing on the side and black is an art and lots of work......

Much easier then keeping up a black finish.
