When it's hot out and the nav system rises up from the dash, mine squeaks. It does it when it goes back down too. Only when it's real hot out. Anybody else have this going on?

Same here. Only when the car is closed up and in the sun.

There is a TSB for the NAV squeak. Had mine fixed last month by the dealer. They have to access the gears and put different lube than what they used during the build.

Mine does that also along with a lot of rattles and creaking until the interior cools off.

Car has creaks like trees in a forest. When the sounds start to bother me, I drown them out with some wot and all is right with the world again.

not taking my V into the dealer to fix a nav squeak. 1/4 tank of gas, 2/32nds of tire and 100 miles later NOPE

My 2009 CTS-V does not squeak. But then it rarely gets to 100 degrees F here. Also, I keep the car is a shady garage most of the time.

+1 if left in hot, direct sun.

I would not take it in for this, as pulling it and regreasing it is more likely to mess it up that keeping the miniscule squeak in place.

+15, mine squeaks too, but not bad enough to have them mangle everything else around it.

I love that Cadillac reps monitor and respond to issues on here. That's how you (re)build a brand :)

Used to have the lead engineer of the V respond on here until he got attacked by some on the forum. GM Engineers do read these forums regularly. They do care and they do listen. Just treat them with respect, they are busy and already overworked. This is a brotherhood/fraternity. We should treat each other as such.......

Mine does that occasionally. It's not a big deal for me. I would have to think there is something that could be applied to the side of the riser to eliminate the squeak for those who can't take it.
