I'm looking at a used CTS-V wagon, and it is currently de-badged.

I prefer a more stock look, and will want to replace the badges.

Is this hard? I've read there are holes where the badges used to be. Does that mean some paintwork was done to facilitate the de-badging?

No holes. Adhesive backed emblems

So do these just get filled when people debadge their cars?

I believe it's just the Cadillac logo and wreath that has holes:
