I have serious traction issues with the stock tires. Whats everyone using? And what works best? Will MT ET street 305/35 R19 fit on a coupe? Im thinking of pulling the trigger on a set.

MT 305/35/19 fits stock rims and wheel wells. Some on hear use them with a 1 " drop too. HOWEVER, there are several reports of out of round problems with some of the early run of MT 305/35/19's. Supposed to have been corrected but not sure.

Ive seen that problem out there and it was old so I assumed it was fixed by now. MT was the only DOT drag radial out there that seemed to have the right size for the stock rims. Do you recomend or know of folks using a larger size on stock rims? Maybe I should get a streat set and a drag set. But Id rather have something that would good for both and be able to hook up and run high 11's

MT is the only DR I am aware of that fits on stock rims. 305 is the max width on a sedan.

I guess MT is my only choice then. Unless I get some different rims. I want to run in the 11s with as little Mods as possible. Im thinking if I cant do it with DOT drag radials. Next will be a tune and pullys. BTW mine is a manual.

might be worth while to find a cheap set of 18" vette wheels to give you more options. At 400 bucks a pop it'll get damn expensive driving around on them (shoudl get between 8-12k miles) and they do not do good on highways for long periods of time or the rain (scary as hell in anything less then a drizzle).
