Hi everyone, im the new owner of a 2006 dts it has 103,000 miles and is in great condition, but i do have a issue with it already, the damn thing just kills at random all the time, can someone please point me in the right direction?
Hi Mrliftalot! If you'd ever like me to explore your concerns further, I just wanted to let you know I'm available via email at Katie_Lucille@gmexpert.com. Welcome to the forum!
any prior symptoms before it "kills itself out", engine light come on? any noises? or does it just stall while you're driving?
Im going to make a guess and say it has something to do with fuel "PRAY ITS NOT A FAULTY FUEL PUMP", what tier gas are you using?-add some injector cleaner
Does it start back up after cutting off?
I would do what Texas Jim recommended.

I doubt its fuel related. Forum user Phatalac had an issue with his 2006 constantly random stalling, I believe that he did solve it so you may want to search his post to see if he posted a solution.
Thanks for the welcome.. And no it doesnt make any noise or lights or anything it just dies, you could be driving or sitting at idle at a red light, and it starts right back up
That sure sounds like crankshaft sensors...
Go have the codes pulled at AutoZone.
If it died like that... it set a code.
Post the codes here and we will help you.
