Get into some of the aftermarket brake sites and see what they sell........... I know my fronts are about 12" and the rears are about 11.7".

My brake RPO code is also JL9

www.placeforbrakes.com (http://www.placeforbrakes.com) has all sorts of different brakes for our cars.

OK - just went through EBC's catalog - your car is listed as having ~11" rotors. Mine are ~12". You might run into wheel interference problems, but you would also have to replace the calipers and brackets to go to 12".

the 97 eldo has 12" rotors
this was a july 96 build, maybe it had 97 parts?
the control arm is different from 97 to 96
probably cant use 97 spindle on a 96 car
balljoint for each has different part numbers

The 97 Seville has 12" rotors. I assume the control arm is the same as the eldo? I always thought the chassis/ subframe changed in 98 for the Seville. So is the subframe for a 96 Seville different than the 97? And the 98 is different than the 97 as well?
I think the mounting point for the control arm changed in 97 but the rest of the frame is unchanged? Than they changed everything in 98?

Remember - the "model year" begins in July/August and runs to June, so a "1997" model ran from late July 1996 to June 1997.

Long ago, the "model year" began in September.

Notice how all the car makers are advertising their 2013 models right now ??? The production lines have already been changed over. "2012" went bye-bye last month. My STS was built on 02/05/02 and it's a "late" 2002 !

why are the 96 and 97 control arms different? the 97 is straight while the 96 has a slight dogleg in it. seems the frame mounting point is shifted several inches forward. they both use the tubular strut rod. can a 97 spindle bolt up to the 96 ball joint?
