Strange thing going on with the nav unit. I go into the audio menu, set bass, mid, trebble to flat, and turn the eq to normal. I also saved this setting in the eq presets.
Now each time I turn the car off, it resets to bass all the way up, mid half way up and trebble all the way up... And defaults to "spacious" mode.
Any ideas?
Thanks!
Yeah, I saw that, but it still resets back to spacious mode. When I first got it, the clock kept resetting. After setting it 5-6 times no issues on that. I wonder if I'm doing something wrong?
Try hitting one of the favorites buttons to navigate to a particular radio station, adjusting the audio settings to your liking, and then confirm the favorite by going back to the main screen and holding down that favorite button again.
If you already tried that, or that's not relevant, I'm probably forgetting where the spacious mode setting is located. If it's in the same location as the clock setting, there's another possibility: most people try to set the clock repeatedly because they forget to hit "OK" on the screen. Instead, they hit the main menu hard button, which effectively cancels the settings that they just tried to apply.
Also try setting your driver preference buttons on the door, that way when you get in, it'll go to how you "like" it. set everything the way you want, then with e-brake engaged, press and hold the 1 or 2 until it beeps. after that, when you use that same key or press the corresponding button you programmed, it hold have the radio at all your saved settings. but yes, randomly these radios do odd things too.
Mine saves the setting how ever it was set when I loaded the radio preset. Idk about CD. But xm and FM work. Personally the spacious setting sounds the best
In addition to turning the key off, it goes back to spacious mode each time xm station is changed. I'm not a fan of is csp crap. Just want it set o normal and flat. It'll be even mor important if I swap he sub/amp later.
