: Sun shade

I seriously need to get a shade for the windshield

I was thinking one that connects in the middle and collapses next to the side pillars when not in use, but-

Are those any good? Does it look lame when stowed?

What do you guys use?

I use a sunshade, the hard, folding kind - custom fit. Talk to Lloyd at one of our vendors ^^^ - Auto Pride. Yeah, it's clunky, but it accordions flat, wrap the Velcro and flip it into the back seat.

Your other post on seat treatments and bag balm......... I get away with saddle soap and Neat's Foot oil from a local tack shop. Used rarely because the car is garaged.

With all the stories of dash pads curling in this summer heat the use of a sunshade is almost a no-brainer. You can also go to a lighter shade of rear deck custom cover as well as a good UV tint job on the windows.

Yeah, I need to do something better, this looks terrible

I didn't see any at AutoPride - do I need to PM him directly? Custom fits sounds much better than what I got going on

OK......... Get into www.autogeek.net (http://www.autogeek.net) and find the CoverCraft custom sunshade ordering info. Custom UVS shade; folding , NOT roll-up or accordion.

I'll have to order directly, because I think I want the gold one

Interesting though, I can't get 99 Eldorado for the selection - in fact Eldorado drops off the menu after 1998.
Aren't the 99 to 02 the same as a 98? I should be ok ordering a 98, right?

Not owning an Eldorado, I can only guess, but from '98 to end of production in 2002 the basic car never changed - only the engine and electronics.

Much better!

For an extra $5 or so it comes with a leather like pouch for storage - looks good

::thumbs up::
