If I didn't see your post count, I would think this is your first time posting on a forum, ever.

Look on page 3-5 for 'Official Lockpick Thread'

You have a 2006 which means your lockpick will need to be built and will come with a toggle switch, $299.

Don't post your phone number on the internet, dingbat.

Is ther a way to modify the lock pick to add a switch, as my sts doesn't have a mute button. It's replaced with the acc buttons.

2005 - 2007 require a switch. 2008+ have a mute button, even with ACC.

I have a 2007 no mute button.

I have a 2007 no mute button.
This is why on the 2005 - 2007 they use an external switch outside of the steering wheel controls.
2008+ has you hold the source button down on the wheel for 3-4 seconds to enable the override, older 2008+ units I believe used a 4x button press of the mute button.

What did you not understand about the post above saying 2006 - 2007 REQUIRE the external switch?

If you order the 2005 - 2007 unit, the switch comes with it, pal. There is nothing you need to modify unless you want to drill a hole somewhere to mount the switch.

Did you even go to the website?

Actually our website is .Net not .Com but any search for an STS Lockpick will turn up our site. We are however dwindling down producing these units and we even cancelled a few back-orders this past week.
