Posted a coulple weeks ago about my 08 N* that got totaled by a hail storm here in Dallas. Good news is I walked with 5k to look for a new STS. Here's were I need some help. Found a 2010 N* 1SG White Diamond with AWD:cool2: I need some feedback on the AWD. Let me know about your experiences. Good Bad In between.

Thanks!

Why would you need AWD in Texas? I'd go RWD, better performance...

AWD = lower MPG even when driving it like you are afraid to break the gas pedal.

I live in MD and I am happy that I have RWD V8. Regarding AWD, as above said, MPG will be lower as there is additional
friction from AWD system and I think acceleration is lowered in comparison to RWD.

As a fellow Texas, the pros don't really outweigh the cons for AWD in this case.

- Lower MPG
- Having AWD is only going to help a bit one month of the year
- The stability and traction control systems on these are advanced enough to compensate for loss of traction between AWD and RWD
- Doubt you will by AutoXing the STS :)

Sandwich, It surely does. Don't think it has any option missing.

This one was the best I could find anywhere close to Dallas. These cars are tough to find.

I just got a letter from the local dealer asking to buy 2006 - 2008 STS's to keep up with demand.

They must really be in demand because they offered my $6,000 more than what I paid for it.

Covert Cadillac of Austin is looking for 5 low-miliage, good condition STS's. Paying over KBB (at least in my case).
