Hey all, Just bought my first STS. 2005 w/ 35000 origonal miles. Love it! Not happy with the factory 17" though. Lookin for some 19" or 20" as close to the STS-V style as I can find. Checked several sites and found some wheel and tire packages for reasonable price, but not real sure of tire sizes needed for either. I really like the raked look and would like to keep that stance. Found some STS-V take-offs on EBay (rims only) for 1700. By the time I buy tires I'm at 3 grand! With 2 kids in college thats not an option : ( . Any help or direction would be great Thanks, Steve

Sts v wheels are 6 lug wheels so you would have ti get replicas or something else. The factory 18s aren't bad .

They look good but they look tiny on the car. I Know These cars have a long wheel base and I've seen a few pics with different set ups and like the look. I guess I'm just looking for tire size specifics for both sizes. Thanks

Since you mention price, keep this in mind.

1. Almost no new car 19" take-offs out there.
2. Very very few cars use 19 inch tires.
3. New 19s cost about $300 to $400 per tire for a high quality tire. Plus tax.
4. Ain't no used 19s out there. (extremely few)
5. Stick with 18s or 20s unless you have $$ to throw away.

i have a question, if you guys are familiar with Vossen wheels, is it possible to fit the VVCV3 on an STS?

AVAILABLE SIZES: 19x8.5 | 19x10 | 20x8.5 | 20x9 | 20x10 | 20x10.5 | 20x11 | 22x9 | 22x10.5

BOLT PATTERNS: 5x120 | 5x112 | 5x114.3 | 5x115 | 5x130 | 5x108 ???

the 06 STS is 5x115 bolt pattern but i spoke to one of the representatives and i was told that they have bolt patterns that'll fit

Found a nice set of OEM 18's on eBay. Price was right! Should be here by Monday. I'll post some pics. Once they're on the car. Thanks for all the help!

Did you get the set for $1500?

I was looking very closely at those just to have around as extras and I doubt too many basically brand new OEM 18s will show up at that price again. Oh well.

Do you mean VVS-CV3? I don't see why not. I had CV1's one my IS-F and loved them.

They have the correct bolt pattern (5x115) and are wide and definitely large enough.

Haven't researched enough to see what the stock offset is, but you may want to double check that before you're replacing tires every 10,000 miles and ruining your control arms.
