So.. What's with the CTS wagon rumors? '06 I hear? It sounds silly but there are actually two good reasons..

#1. Many luxury competitors have them and they sell (Audi, BMW, Mercedes).

#2. They're a good replacement for SUV's which may not be around forever...

wouldnt a CTS wagon and the SRX be a little to similar to justify both. Maybe they could sell them in Europe

That's a good point.. I really wonder... Is the SRX the same size as the Lincoln Aviator? Or smaller?

i really dont know. I believe it has 3 rows of seats so it must be somewhat similar in size to the Lincoln. But it seems you are getting alot more tech and style with the SRX than the Lincoln. When I think of new Crossovers the SRX, FX45, RX330, X5 come to the front of my mind. Im not even sure I would test drive a Lincoln. Maybe they need an X in the name.:)

That would be interesting, Cadillac has never made a wagon....But then, They never made a truck till a few years ago.....Did they.

if the whole vseries succeeds and they come out with monster wagons like audi does it will be awesome and i wouldn't mind adding one or two to my collection.

After the stunning unveiling of the CTS Coupe at the Detroit Auto Show, even though I'll never buy one the CTS Wagon may sell. I saw pictures elsewhere of the 2.6 Diesel engine and it looks impressive. I don't know what kind of horsepower it's rated at or the MPG.

It's a 2.9 Turbo Diesel with 250 hp, 550 Nm torque

I believe Cadillac expects this to sell best in Europe where wagons are far more popular than here. It should also sport GM's 2.9 litre diesel.

And for this reason, I wouldn't be suprised if the debut is at the Frankfurt auto show in September.

It's my understanding that the convertible was axed, but I haven't seen anything official.
